One thing leads to the other

Smaller picture--My younger son insisted on watching a movie together last night. In the morning he got up late.He had to eat the break fast in a great hurry to reach school in time.In the process he spilt a little curd.I explained him that the spill was in a way related to his insistence on watching the movie the previous night. If in the hurry the cycle hits some rikshaw on the way to school, it could also be attributed to the same cause.Hence he ought to be careful on the road.

Bigger picture-----'Sant ke dookhan aarja ghate'(By giving pain to a saint, age is reduced-Sukhmani Sahib)If someone offends a saintly person the saintly person may not react (as he wouldn't be revengeful). Then the offender gets emboldened and sows the seeds of badwill here and there which saps away his battery(life). His age thus gets reduced. If he is killed due some enmity earned by him his family members might not even be able to comprehend the real cause.

Mega picture(conclusion)---Cause of all causes is Waheguru. At times we may be ranting at a cause while the seeds of the real cause might be beyond our comprehension. We ought to sow positve seeds as far as possible so that we can expect positve fruit. May Waheguru inspire us to be in tune with the cause of causes(Waheguru's Hukam)
