Sayth Nanak

'Sabte vadda satguru,Nanak jin kal rakhi meri'(Satguru is the greatest
saviour sayth Nanak who has saved my honour).It ought to be noted that
word satguru in this Shabad has a vowel in the end which gives a sort
of coma.A kirthania can understand this quite well.
Often people give it a meaning that GuruNanak is the greatest of all
Gods while it is amply clear that Sikhism cherishes but one and only
one God.I feel such a translation mixes ego in the Shabad which is not
quite according to the Sikh line of thought.
