If the present is honestly lived the future should take care of itself.Actions can only be performed in the present.Future gives poison in the form of worries.It has several forms like planning etc.Extra planning causes worries.It is indeed lack of faith in truthfulness that make us worry.Worries poison our present and reduce the quality of our present actions.All this is bound to spoil the future.It is indeed better to forget the past and stop worrying about the future.
